RICHEYVILLE: Rock for Rescue Event Supports Two Local Organizations

The Richeyville Fire Hall will be taken over by 6 local bands on Saturday, November 28th as they “rock out” to raise money for two local causes.The “Rock for Rescue” event will raise money for the Washington Area Humane Society and the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department.The concert begins at 6:00 PM and continues for six hours with performances by Backburner, Rogues Gallery, Tirade, 2 Thumbs Up, Black Dog Hollow and Jinx. Doors open at 5:00 PM.Tickets cost $10 and are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the fire department and the Washington Area Humane Society.The no-kill animal shelter takes in thousands of animas and investigates an average of 800 animal-abuse complaints each year.The ticket price includes admission to the concert. Food and refreshments will be available, and those in attendance can participate in 50/50 drawings and other giveaways. For more information, call: 724-632-6390.
