Local School Board Approves New Contract With Teachers

GREENE COUNTY, Pa. -- The Jefferson-Morgan school board approved a new three-year contract with district teachers, according to the Observer-Reporter.Under the new contract, the majority of teachers will receive salary increases of about 2.6-percent a year.The current contract between the district and the 77 members of the Education Association expires at the end of August.The two sides first began negotiating for a new contract in October.
