Your vote could help a Pittsburgh-native win a national design competition.

Cecilia Staniec is one of ten designer finalists in the competition sponsored by Kirkland's, the home decor stores.

Staniec is competing against designers from cities including California, Dallas and Philadelphia.

The five designers with the highest number of votes will be named as the myKirkland's designers. Designers will interact with customers on the Web site, offering design and style advice via blogs and tips.

Voting ends Aug. 27.
