Amusement Park Owners Want Share In Legalized Gambling

Bingo Once Allowed At Kennywood

Pennsylvania amusement park owners are fighting for a chance to get in on legalized gambling.

The Pennsylvania Amusement Park Association, which includes the owners of Kennywood, wants the state to allow it to offer bingo.

The group says it fears Kennywood and other parks would suffer if the state legalizes slot machines.

Bingo was allowed at parks years ago.

However, laws now prevent games of chance and only allow games of skill.
