Eagles announce 2020 'Hotel California' tour backed by orchestra, choir

LOS ANGELES — The Eagles are touring next year -- and will be playing their "Hotel California" album in full .

Rolling Stone reported that the band's current lineup --  Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, country icon Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, the son of late Eagles member Glenn Frey -- will kick off the tour with two dates in Atlanta.

The Associated Press reported that the group will perform the 1976 record backed by a 46-piece orchestra and a 22-voice choir. According to a tour announcement on the Eagles website, the set will not only include the 1976 album, but some of the band's greatest hits.

Tickets go on sale to the public Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. local time. The tour dates are below.
