The Blast reported the two signed a prenup. The document says the two married Dec. 23, 2018. The date of separation is listed as "TBD." According to TMZ, unnamed sources say the prenup keeps their earnings during their marriage separate.

People reported Hemsworth, a 29-year-old Australian actor, hired Hollywood divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Representatives for Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth have not commented on the divorce filing.

"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time," a representative for Cyrus told People in a statement Aug. 10. "Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."

Cyrus and Hemsworth met in 2008 on the set "The Last Song," in which they played love interests. They had an on-again, off-again relationship, including two engagements. They got engaged for the second time in 2016 before marrying two years later.
