'Will & Grace' features paintings by Pittsburgh artist

"Tomatoes" and "Heart #1" by Johno Prascak

"Will & Grace" will feature three of Pittsburgh artist Johno Prascak's colorful Enamel paintings in tonight's episode at 9 p.m. on Channel 11.

Prascak was thrilled to receive a text from the show's executive producer today telling him that his paintings, "Tomatoes," "Heart #1" and "Heart #2," will appear in the "bridal shower scene" of the episode titled "Sweatshop Annie & The Annoying Baby Shower."

This isn't the first time for Prascak, and it won't be the last. The show featured his paintings in the finale of Season 8 in 2006, and he said he can expect the same for Season 10.

Next year, he plans on taking advantage of the publicity for the greater good. If the network will disclose what paintings will air at what time, he said he plans on hosting a fundraiser for a respective nonprofit, such as Grow Pittsburgh, and give away a print of the painting.

TRENDING NOW:

Prascak owns "Johno's ART Studio"  in the South Side Slopes and has had great success as a professional artist for 18 years.

His paintings, created with Enamel paints mixed with sand from the Monongahela River, are widely displayed in prominent public spaces throughout Pittsburgh, such as Heinz Field.

You can visit his booth at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show until March 11 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
