Browse thousands of gently-used items at the Friends of the Green Tree Public Library Annual Used Book Sale. Held at the Green Tree Municipal Center, this fundraiser and community event will kick off with the Friends of the Library Preview Sale on Thursday, October 4 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Interested parties may obtain Friends memberships at the door at a cost of $5 per individual or $8 per family. The sale debuts to the general public on Friday, October 5 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and continues on Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. A bag sale is scheduled on Sunday, October 7 from noon until 4 p.m. The used book sale concludes with a super bagful sale, held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, October 8. Not only will a vast selection of hardback and paperback titles be available for purchase, but also vintage books, music, videos, books on CD and more. Most items will be priced at just $1.00. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted as payment. The Green Tree Municipal Center, a facility with plenty of free parking, is located at 10 West Manilla Avenue, right off the Parkway West.
