Time Voyagers The Bach Choir explores the commodity of time which seems to be both finite and infinite. The perception of time and our place in it powerfully influences and shapes our lives and is reflected in every event and experience. Time Remembered/Time Forgotten October 13, 2012 - 8:00pm Eastminster Presbyterian Church Featuring the Pittsburgh premiere of Robert S. Cohen's Alzheimer's Stories capturing the memories of families, friends and individuals affected by the disease. Also on the program is Howard Hansen's Song of Democracy, which brings to life the words of Walt Whitman's poetry about school-aged youth and the values that young people carry forth from this generation to the next. Timeless: Messiah In Space December 8, 2012 - 8:00PM Hunt Armory George Frederic Handel's Messiah is our second concert - Timeless. Presented in the Hunt Armory in Shadyside featuring soloists and the Academy Chamber Orchestra. Messiah In Space is a unique interpretation of this masterpiece which allows the text to be rediscovered in a new light. Time Zones: The Chaplin & Bach Encounter April 6, 2012 - 8:00pm Venue TBA The season finishes with a juxtaposition of two distinct Time Zones, the first being that of our forebear and namesake, Johann Sebastian Bach, and the second that of writer, star and legend of the silent screen, Charlie Chaplin. Combining the musical genius of Bach with the brilliant silent narratives of Chaplin, the Bach Choir bridges these two eras, creating a thought-provoking connection between artistic genres. $10.00, $25.00, $20.00, $10.00, $20.00, $25.00, $10.00, $20.00, $25.00,
