Make Comics! Comics Club is a series of four consecutive Thursday workshops, beginning on 10/11/12, 4-6pm.,  @ Assemble - 5125 Penn Ave. Students should plan on attending all four sessions. Students will learn about the visual and narrative elements of comic strips and graphic novels. Comic artists will make guest appearances to share their own work and teach some tricks of the trade. Students will work individually and collaboratively. Their work will be compiled and published at the end of the workshop series, and they’ll have a chance to exhibit their comics at a Comic Fair on a Saturday at Assemble (in November or December). Students must pre-register. $5/session or $15 for the series.
