Pies. Cookie swaps. Donuts. Cookies. Fudge. Cookies. Triple Mocha Lattes. Cookies. Brownies. Cookies…You get the picture, right? The real miracle of the holidays is that we can actually survive the sugary sweet overload. And by survive, I mean get through it without gaining 20 lbs, being weighed down by guilt, having severe mood swings, catching the winter ick, or feeling exhausted. The good news? You can permanently change your relationship to sugar. That’s right. Reduce your cravings, have more energy, and even add more sweetness into your life the right way. This class will teach you how to safely detox your body from sugar, so you can start the new year off right. Presenter Emily Levenson will also be talking about the effects of sugar on the body, what our cravings tell us, and how to kick the habit once and for all. The program is free, but registration is required. Location: Sycamore Room
