February 2, 2013 10 a.m to 3 p.m. Admission: $25 Benefiting: Camp Bovey (summer camp) East Side Neighborhood Services will host its eighth annual Twin Cities Snowshoe Shuffle at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, Minnesota at 10 a.m. on February 2, 2013. All proceeds provide scholarships for urban youth to attend Camp Bovey, a summer camp of East Side Neighborhood Services. This year, we have added a new event - Canines for Camp 2K dog walk. Walking your dog is a fun and healthy activity for people and their dogs. Registration for this year’s dog walk is $25. The fees include participation, an event shirt, gift bag and a chili lunch post-race. Long Lake Regional Park is the perfect venue for snowshoeing. While running on the groomed, snowy trails in the park’s wooded scenery, you would never know that you are only minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
