Come to Fern Hollow Nature Center to discover the physical adaptations and habits of Pennsylvania’s nocturnal birds of prey. Bob Van NewKirk, a volunteer with the Audubon Society of Western PA, will present this 90 minute interactive program using props and posters. You will also have the chance to meet some live owls visiting from Wild Bird Recovery (Valencia, PA). Following the indoor portion of the program, members of the audience will be led on a short hike on the nature center property to call for owls. Program is geared for children 6 and up. You must have reservations to attend this program.
