Join us on Friday, February 8, 2013, to learn about an innovative regional learning movement (as described here and here and here). You'll walk away from this event with a clear understanding about the leadership and the offerings available to you from the Sprout Fund, the Intermediate Units, and the Pittsburgh Technology Council. More importantly, you'll walk away with practical information about how to get involved, inspiration about the possibilities, and new contacts to help make things happen. So whether you're a superintendent, principal, or teacher; a librarian, museum director, or exhibit designer; a roboticist, technologist, or gamer; an early learning educator, afterschool director, or summer learning teacher; or an artist, entrepreneur, or multimedia producer -- if you care about connecting with local kids and youth in ways that ignite their passion for learning -- you'll want to be there. (Note:  If you can come for only 1 hour, you'll want to be there to hear the presentations in McConomy Auditorium.  If you can come for 2 or 3 hours, you'll also get a chance to see what's going on in a hands-on way, plus network with people you'll want to meet.)
