The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center proudly announces that it will host its 12th annual signature fundraising event, Shake Your Booties on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the East Club of Heinz Field. This year, we will honor legendary Pittsburgh Steeler Aaron Smith and his family. While Aaron is legendary as one of the NFL's top defensive lineman he remains committed to families in our region. His deep commitment to his family and our community has helped to strengthen the resolve of those that are dealing with adverse and difficult health issues. He knows first-hand the struggles of our families and patients. He and his family are role models in the Pittsburgh community through their advocacy of others, intensive community service, commitment to families and support of those in need. Co-chairs Julie Kline and Ranny Ferguson invite guests to indulge in an evening of excitement featuring cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, gourmet food stations, a short program, a photo booth and opportunities to win fabulous items in our raffle, and silent/live auctions. Throughout the evening, guests will also be treated to live entertainment by In The Mood. All Shake Your Booties proceeds benefit the programs of The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center: Adoption, Child's Way, and the Pediatric Specialty Hospital.
