Celebrate the ‘60s in style at this two-day Vintage Pittsburgh event at the History Center, presented in partnership with Modcloth and Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer.
On Friday evening, the Vintage Pittsburgh Fashion Show will showcase the evolution of style in the 1960s and how it inspires today’s trends. Cash bar and light refreshments will be available.
On Saturday, the ‘60s will come alive on all six floors of the museum with beloved ‘60s games for the whole family, several DJs spinning classic vinyl, ‘60s-themed food demos in the Weisbrod Kitchen Classroom, and classic cars that will elicit memories of a watershed era in American history.
Dozens of vendors will be on-hand to sell vintage clothing, jewelry, housewares, and records. Visitors will learn how to properly style and preserve their vintage clothing items and other keepsakes from the ‘60s during special conservation sessions. Vintage Pittsburgh will also feature live ‘60s-themed entertainment and special prizes throughout the day.
Free with regular museum admission and free for History Center members.
