Like Linux and open source software? So do we! You don't need to be a member of WPLUG to come to our monthly meetings, and there is no cost to attend. After our "business meeting," which typically doesn't take more than half an hour, we'll open the floor to presentations, discussions, and generally just hanging out. If you're interested in having fun with other Linux and open source enthusiasts in the area, we invite you to stop by! Here's what we've got planned for this month: 1:30pm - Doors open, set up 2:00pm - Business Meeting starts -Major updates from several WPLUG committees about projects we've got planned for 2013 2:30pm - Presentations -WPLUG Chairman Pat Barron will give a presentation entitled "Build Your Own Certificate Authority Using xca" -Vice Chairman/Secretary Justin Smith will give a presentation about the webOS mobile operating system. Here's a preview: "In the span of just three years, webOS went from being a media darling to a running gag. What happened? How did it end up contributing to Android's development? I'll also be giving a hands-on demonstration of Open WebOS, the most current iteration of webOS, since I own one of the three Android devices that is capable of running it." 3:30pm - Meeting ends, everyone out. Some of us may go to D's 6pack for beer and dogs. If you need directions on the day of the event, call or text us at 412-254-6583. This phone number is -only- active during meeting days; if you try to contact it on another day, it will go straight to voice mail, and we will return your message at our discretion.
