********************THE TALENT************************** Robin Vote - This quartet describes their sound as having roots in the panic, existential tumult, and doom-folk scenes. And if you mix that with skiffle and fairy-tale, you get a sort of glam-jazz. What does that actually mean? Well, you'll hafta come to find out! (http://robinvote.bandcamp.com/) El Chupacabra - This group includes members of several local bands and is sure to be crowd pleaser! Playing as El Chupacabra they showcase cutting-edge jazz-based hip-hop and funk. Cutups - As a resident DJ at Lazercrunk and Fuzz, Cutups loves to push new forms of electronic bass music onto Pittsburgh dance floors. For this event he'll be spinning a fun mashed up selection of dance party jams of all styles, from the past and the future. (http://cutupsmethod.com/) Rolling Ruler - A collaboration between Vasculator (Void Tactical Media) and Luke Owens (Technoir) is always certain to result in some strange noise (http://rhinoplex.org/vasculator & http://technoiraudio.com/) *********************THE GOODS************************* Each attendee will receive a complimentary auction ticket for paying the $5 cover and additional tickets will be reasonably priced (tbd).
