Relay For Life of Alle-Kiski Volunteer Meeting Feb 12th On Tuesday, Feb. 12th, the Relay for Life of Alle-Kiski will have a volunteer meeting at the Valley High School Cafeteria. Committee Members will meet at 6PM and Teams and anyone else looking to help in the planning or just to get involved in Relay will meet at 7PM. All who would like to join the fight against cancer are urged to attend. Because cancer never sleeps, Alle-Kiski residents will come together to walk throughout the night in the battle against cancer at the 2013 Relay for Life of Alle-Kiski — a unique fundraising event that will be held on August 10th-11th at Memorial Park. This celebration of life will bring numerous groups and individuals concerned about cancer together for a unified effort to fight back against the disease. From cancer survivors, patients and caregivers to businesses, civic organizations, and community volunteers, Relay for Life reminds us that progress has been made in the fight against cancer and that everyone who participates is making a difference.
