Kid Tested Tuesday, Hot Toy Reviews From The Real Experts

Posted: 11:35 am EST November 10, 2008Updated: 1:47 pm EST December 16, 2008

They look great in TV advertisements, but what will your children really think of this year's hottest toys? Each week, a group of Pittsburgh kids and their parents sit down with WPXI.com's consumer guru, Jessica Woiner, to put the items on your shopping list to the test.

A message from our guide, local mom Susan Lewis:

"We are really excited in my house to be testing toys for the holiday season. I know from many birthdays and holidays with my kids that nothing is worse than buying a toy for your children that looks like so much fun and it turns out to be a disappointment. I also love it when I find a toy that is unusual that my kids love. So I am going to try to have a good mix of both. I am going to test some popular toys but also try to find some that may be a diamond in the rough."
