My son loves to dance and whenever he hears a beat he stops whatever he's doing and starts bopping up and down to the music so I thought he would enjoy a toy that he could make his own music with.

The Bee Bop Band Music Set is a great toy for your little musician and one that will surely keep them entertained. The set comes with 5 pieces that look like adorable colorful insects (ant jingle bells, bee maraca and clacker, caterpillar tambourine, centipede drumsticks, and ladybug xylophone) and the container turns into a drum. This also makes it easy to store and transport (and harder to lose) the pieces.

I thought it was reasonably priced for around $20. Best of all it doesn't require any batteries! I also liked that the set didn’t have any “talking” pieces and that the kids had to use their own imaginations and rhythms to make music.

Brendan (Age 1 1/2) and Matthew (Age 2) could not wait to get a hold of the drumsticks and start banging on the drum top. They also loved shaking the rattles and making all sorts of noise! It kept them entertained for a good while and there was lots of laughing and squealing as they jammed! The only thing I would caution about is the drumsticks could be used as weapons if kids start getting too rowdy so close adult supervision is needed!

The Bee Bop Band Music Set is a fun toy that helps little ones develop their motor skills and a toy that can grow with them as they get older. It's a winner!
