This seems like a great idea for a Barbie house. You do not need to have a big giant Barbie mansion and the ad says that you can change the house to be how you want. I think the giant mansion might be better.

This house comes in three different pieces. You have a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a laundry room. There are also lots of accessories you can add. You can add a full kitchen set and a full bedroom, but those are all extras. This is really just the walls of the house with a few added bonuses. You can move the walls how ever you want.

The house has lots of great little touches. I loved the tiny tooth brushes in the bathroom and the pretend milk and bread. It however kept falling apart. The table will not stay on the wall and the bathroom kept falling over. The chairs legs came off so many times. We tended to only use the rooms that were facing us. It was too hard to walk around the house, so you forgot about the rooms on the back.

Paige (Age 6) said that she wished that the rooms were connected. Which is the very thing that is supposed to be great about the house is that it is not connected. Overall she gave it a thumbs up and she wants it for Christmas.

Mary (Age 8) and Jessica (Age 8) liked it. Jessica’s first reactions was to say "you can turn it around." They love pretending and do not really need the house. The only real advantage I saw to the house is that it could be broken up. So while Mary and Jessica were playing with the kitchen and family room Kelly(Age 4) could play with the bathroom and not be in their way. Kelly liked the fact that it was a house more than the older kids. She loved all the little touches. She had her Barbie in the shower and putting towels in the washing machine.

Jack (Age 3), even though he is a boy, liked cooking in the kitchen and Hunter (Age 3) enjoyed it too.

I think it is a nice toy. If you have a lot of room to set it up where it will not be disturbed then it is great.

Have you played with this toy? Please share your comments with us below!
