Catholics Honor Local Rabbi

PITTSBURGH -- Friday, a local rabbi is being honored by Catholics.Rabbi Walter Jacob, of Rodef Shalom in Shadyside, is being honored for his impact in Jewish-Catholic relations.He will be invested in the Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great Saturday.Jacob was named to the knighthood by the late Pope John Paul II.He will be one of only four living Jews in the world to receive the honor.
