Bank tellers thought it was a bomb but it turned out to be a pasta topping.
A woman sat a bag of red liquid on the counter of the Fifth Third bank and demanded money.
The teller, not knowing what was in the bag gave her cash and the woman described to be in her 60's left the bank.
Once police and the bomb squad arrived at the bank in Clinton Township Michigan they were able to check the contents and confirm it was only spaghetti sauce and not a bomb.
One officer told the Detroit Free Press “It did look like there was a hard object in there but it was folded over so you couldn’t see what was inside."
The woman walked away with nothing to put on her pasta but she did have an unknown amount of the banks money to buy more.
No word on if the sauce was out of a can or homemade.
