Madonna is joined by family and friends at the world premiere of "Madonna: The MDNA Tour" at the Paris Theatre.

 
  • The Three Rivers Ballroom Dance Challenge was held at the Syria Shrine on Sunday.
  • The competition was organized by Andrew Pueschel and Amanda Wolf was the co-organizer.
  • 100 dancers, both amateurs and professionals, competed.
  • KatiAna Davis competed for the first time in the Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz, and took 2nd place in her category.
  • Tim and Elona Palmer were also there to support their daughter Sherri Palmer.
  • Sherri Palmer was dancing with Steel City Ballroom.
  • The day long competition was broken up by style and ran from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • The American Smooth style included the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz.
  • Shannon Sloan also competed, and her father Jeff was there to cheer her on.
  • The audience focused on the dance floor, where the competition took place.
  • Katie Krajovic, Ronna Delitts, and Ly Koenig enjoyed watching the American Smooth style dancing.
  • Jen Davidson was also competing
  • Larry Hojo took a breather after his turn on the dance floor.
  • Kathy, Ethan, Craig and Ryan Gilbert
  • Natalie Frydryck and Sofiya Bidochko enjoyed dancing in the competition.

  • Ron and Ruth Sanders enjoyed the American Rhythm style dance.
  • Some of the competitors were seasoned dancers while for others this was their first competition.
  • Maureen Andrews enjoyed competing with her instructor.
  • Kay Vinay was interested in the fun atmosphere surrounding the competition.
  • Jean-Paul Gronek traveled from Columbus, OH with his students Maureen Andrews, Marcy Witteman, Jim Blakeslee and Jan Blakeslee who study at the Dance Plus Ballroom.
  • Jerry Freiberg competed in the International Standard and American Smooth styles of dance.
  • Nicholas Beasley spent his day dancing and watching others compete.
  • Sometimes as many as five couples would dance at one time with as many as three competitions being judged at one time.
  • Many of the competitors also watched the competition in other styles.
  • An award ceremony took place after the competitions for each style concluded.
  • Each award ceremony included many categories.
  • The dancing continued into the night concluding with a Pro Show.
