Plan Proposed To Get Pittsburgh Green

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh City Council is going green.The council held a special session Monday morning to discuss the new Pittsburgh Climate Action Plan.The goal of the plan is to create a 20 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in the city.The plan outlines strategies for government, business, labor, nonprofit and university sectors to help reduce the city's carbon footprint.The council will vote o nthe plan later in the summer.
