A local truck dealership is now on board with the 'going green' movement.

Peterbilt Motors and Hunter Truck Sales of Butler teamed up Tuesday to display their hybrid medium-duty trucks.

The company said it was an opportunity to show that it's not only passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs that are becoming more environmentally friendly.

"They run on a combination of electric and diesel power and still get the job done, and they can save as much as 30 percent in fuel economy," explained truck sales and marketing representative Jack Lewis.

The company also held a training session Tuesday to teach employees how to sell customers on the advantages of buying a hybrid.
