Bears' Benson Arrested For Boating While Intoxicated

Chicago, IL -- (Sports Network) - Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson was arrested Saturday night and charged with boating while intoxicated and resisting arrest near Austin, Texas, according to the Chicago Tribune.The fourth-overall selection in the 2005 NFL Draft failed a sobriety "float test" and argued with authorities about taking a follow-up test and refusing to put on a life jacket, according to a sergeant with the Travis County Sheriff's office. The running back was then pepper sprayed after he did not cooperate the paper said. Benson, who suffered a broken leg last season, rushed for 674 yards with four touchdowns in 11 starts.
