Before you get too excited about that too-good-to-be-true Kroger deal you saw online, we have bad news: You're right.
It IS too good to be true.
If you've seen a "Congratulations" message with a promise of a "free $250 off Kroger" coupon, you've been scammed.
Kroger warned its customers Monday via its Facebook page, saying the coupon is "unauthorized" and is "not affiliated with or supported by the Kroger Company."
The company said it recommends customers do not engage with the fraudulent coupon.
