JCPenney to hire 100+ in Pittsburgh area

JCPenney is gearing up for the back-to-school shopping rush by hiring 115 associates throughout the Pittsburgh area.

The company said local associates are needed for a variety of customer service and support positions, including cashier, replenishment specialist, SEPHORA inside JCPenney beauty consultant and more.

Employees will receive competitive pay, an associate discount up to 25 percent, flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, according to the JCPenney corporate communications and public relations department.

Additionally, JCPenney salons in Pittsburgh are seeking experienced salon stylists. The company said its new premier commission plan enables incoming stylists with robust client books to set their own hours and pricing while earning some of the highest commissions of any salon chain.

Highly experienced stylists are also eligible for flexible scheduling with no overhead costs, paid artistic training, health benefits for full-time stylists, paid time off and 401K eligibility.
