Vanessa Trump defends her ex Donald Trump Jr. and new flame Kimberly Guilfoyle

Donald Trump Jr. and his estranged wife Vanessa Trump are presenting a united front as reports circulate about his relationship with Fox News' Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Vanessa Trump defended Don Jr. on Twitter Friday, quote-tweeting a news story about her husband's critics and seemingly giving her blessing to his new romance.

"The lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she’s dating Don," she tweeted. "We’ve been separated for over nine months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy. We’ll focus on raising our great kids. Would be nice if the press did the same rather than obsess over our (private) lives!"

"Liberal privilege at its finest," Trump Jr. tweeted about the news story.

Their tweets arrived the day after Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle made one of their first public appearances together, attending a magazine launch party in New York on Thursday night, per photos in Page Six and Us Weekly.

Vanessa Trump, who married Trump Jr. in 2005, filed in March for an uncontested divorce, meaning there likely won't be a fight over custody or assets in the couple's split.

They are the parents of five of President Donald Trump's grandchildren; theirs range in age from 3 to 10.
