Toronto, Cleveland To Play Doubleheader Monday After Rainout

POSTED: 3:00 pm EDT May 11, 2008

(Sports Network) - Sunday's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as a traditional doubleheader on Monday, as the clubs will play twice to finish out a four-game set. The first game is slated for 4:05 p.m., and the second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends.

A.J. Burnett for the Blue Jays and Fausto Carmona for the Indians -- who were Sunday's probable starting pitchers -- will face off in the first game. Toronto's Shaun Marcum and Cleveland's Cliff Lee will toe the rubber in the second game. Cleveland won the first two games of the series, 6-1 on Friday and 12-0 on Saturday.
