Detroit, MI -- (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners recalled pitcher R.A. Dickey from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday, to fill the roster spot vacated by Cha Seung Baek.

Baek was designated for assignment following Seattle's 9-4 loss at Detroit on Wednesday.

Dickey had already been recalled once this season, on April 14 -- though was sent back down to Tacoma eight days later. In that span, the right-handed knuckleballer made two appearance, and allowed five runs in seven innings.
