Texas Rangers (44-42) At Baltimore Orioles (43-41), 4:35 P.m.

(Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers will pay a visit to the Baltimore Orioles this weekend, starting with the first of three straight games today from Camden Yards.

Texas will try to get back on track after having its three-game winning streak halted after Wednesdays 18-7 blowout loss at Yankee Stadium. Milton Bradley and Chris Davis both had two-run homers for the Rangers, who got two more RBI from Josh Hamilton. Hamilton leads the majors with 82 RBI this season.

Ian Kinsler was 1-for-4 and extended his hitting streak to 15 games, while Luis Mendoza started on the hill and allowed six runs -- five unearned -- on four hits in 4 2/3 innings. Warner Madrigal took the loss after being reached for six runs on five hits in just one-third on an inning.

Vicente Padilla gets the nod for the Rangers today, looking to rebound from an ugly performance in his most recent start. Padilla had a personal three-start winning streak put to rest the last time out on June 28 versus Philadelphia. He yielded seven runs and seven hits in six frames of an 8-6 defeat.

Padilla, a righty, has been nearly unstoppable on the road this season, as he owns a 7-1 record in 10 away outings. He is also 2-3 with a 5.70 ERA in five career appearances, four starts, against Baltimore.

Baltimore just split a four-game series with the Kansas City Royals at Camden Yards, but had a two-game winning streak stopped with Thursday's 10-7 loss. Aubrey Huff hit a solo homer and a two-run shot, while Adam Jones was 2- for-4 with two RBI and a run scored for the Orioles.

Adam Loewen took the loss after he permitted three runs on three hits without retiring a batter in the sixth inning. Garrett Olson started for the Os and was rocked for six runs - five earned - and eight hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Jeremy Guthrie will handle pitching duties for Baltimore this afternoon, and he is 4-7 with a 3.50 ERA in 18 starts in 2008. Guthrie is 1-0 in his last three starts and did not factor in the outcome of a 3-2 loss at Washington on June 29. He tossed seven innings of one-run ball and gave up four hits.

The right-hander, who is just 1-3 in eight home starts this season, has no record and a 5.40 ERA through three career games (one start) against Texas.

Texas took two of three from the O's earlier in the season at Arlington.
