Texas Concludes Set In Baltimore

(Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles conclude a three-game weekend series today from Camden Yards.

Ian Kinsler smashed a two-run homer on Saturday to help the Rangers to a 5-3 win in the middle portion of a three-game set with the Orioles. Kinsler has 14 home runs while Josh Hamilton drove in his MLB-leading 83rd run of the season.

Michael Young went 3-for-5 with an RBI, while German Duran was 3-for-3 with a pair of runs scored for the Rangers, who have won four of their last six games. Scott Feldman (3-3) picked up the win for giving up three runs on five hits and four walks over six innings.

Texas catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia left the game in the sixth inning with a strained right groin and is listed as day-to-day Nick Markakis hit a two-run double and Brian Burres was tagged for three runs on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings for the Orioles, who had won three of four coming into the contest.

Lance Cormier (1-3) was charged with the loss. Texas will send Kevin Millwood to the bump today, and he is currently 5-4 with a 4.90 ERA. He has allowed 116 hits in 90 innings of work and is winless in his last three outings.

Millwood is 1-0 this season against Baltimore, having allowed only one earned run on three hits in seven innings of his lone start against the squad. For his career, Millwood is 8-2 against the Orioles with a 3.29 ERA.

Speaking of Baltimore, it is expected to send righty Radhames Liz to the hill this afternoon. Although his 3-0 record is certainly solid, Liz owns a 5.46 ERA. He is coming off a victory over Kansas City in which he allowed three earned runs over six innings.

Liz has only faced Texas once in his short career and was roughed up to the tune of six earned runs in 2.2 innings.

Texas took two of three from the O's earlier in the season at Arlington.
