Kansas City, MO -- (Sports Network) - The Chicago White Sox activated first baseman Paul Konerko off the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, and he went 1-for-3 and drove in a run in Chicago's 8-7, 13-inning victory over the Kansas City Royals.Konerko, who had been rehabilitating at Triple-A Charlotte, was placed on the DL for the first time in his career on June 17 with a Grade 1 strain of his left oblique muscle. The slugger was batting just .215 with eight home runs and 30 runs batted in with the White Sox before the injury. In four games with Charlotte, he went 6- for-11 with three RBI. To make room for Konerko on the 25-man roster, the White Sox designated infielder Pablo Ozuna for assignment. Ozuna, 34, hit .281 with six RBI in 32 games with the Sox this season. He played in 208 games with Chicago from 2005-08, batting .290 with two home runs, 37 RBI and 23 stolen bases.
