Chicago, IL -- (Sports Network) - Oakland Athletics rookie outfielder Carlos Gonzalez left Friday's 7-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox in the seventh inning with tightness in his right hamstring.

Gonzalez came into the game hitting .267 with 13 RBI in 31 games this season, and was 2-for-3 with a run scored before suffering the injury.

Rajai Davis replaced the highly-regarded 22-year old in center field.
