Phoenix, AZ -- (Sports Network) - Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Orlando Hudson left Tuesday's 9-2 win against the Chicago Cubs after getting hit by a pitch.

In the eighth inning, Hudson was at bat with Kevin Hart on the mound for Chicago. Hart hit Hudson with a pitch around the right ankle and the second baseman dropped to the ground.

After being attended to for several minutes, Hudson had to be helped off the field and he was taken into the locker room.

Hudson went 1-for-3 in the game with a solo home run.
