Shoppers won’t have to wait until Friday to get holiday sales this year. That’s because many retailers are starting online sales as early as 1 a.m. Thanksgiving.

Sears, Best Buy and Toys R Us are some of the big retailers starting online Black Friday sales as early as 1 a.m. Thanksgiving.

The sales are expected to be deep enough discounts to lure customers into a sale.

Another way retailers are hoping to get consumers to click the buy button is by offering free shipping.

A survey by Shopzilla for Shop.org found 78 percent of retailers plan to offer free shipping with conditions during the holiday season.

But buyers need to beware.

Free shipping with conditions means that a customer must purchase a certain item or a certain number of or dollar amount of merchandise before receiving the offer.

And one-fifth of retailers say they will require a higher purchase amount for customers to be eligible for free shipping.

Some retailers will also allow customers to return online purchases to stores.
