Woman Found Dead Near Bellevue Railroad Tracks Identified

Officials have identified a woman who was found dead in Bellevue Saturday afternoon.

The crew of a train passing through Bellevue saw a body of Antoinette Giuliani, 69, of South Fremont Street, on the side of the tracks.

Allegheny County homicide detectives, along with forensic investigators and local police checked the area around 1000 Ohio River Blvd.

Police determined that Giuliani was not hit by a train and died in some other way.

The medical examiner is working to determine the exact manner of death and said she died of blunt force trauma to the head and trunk.

Originally, police said they did not believe there was any foul play involved.

County police said Giuliani was last seen Thanksgiving morning by a member of her family.

This is the second woman found dead in this area in three days.

On Thursday, Denise Miller, 42, of Bellevue, was discovered in the Ohio River floating near Western Penitentiary.
