Sports Channels | Boozer, Jazz Tune Up SixersPosted: 11:58 am EST November 29, 2007 Philadelphia, PA -- (Sports Network) - Carlos Boozer scored 26 points and pulled in seven rebounds, leading the Utah Jazz to a 106-95 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.Ronnie Brewer scored 19 points for the Jazz, who have won four of five. Deron Williams had 15 points and 15 assists, and Mehmet Okur scored 16 points for Utah. "We did a good job, but we didn't play the best we could play," Boozer said. "It was kind of an ugly game; that's how we felt anyway, but we made enough plays and had enough guys that were balling out there to get the W." Andre Iguodala scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Sixers, who again failed to win consecutive games for the first time this season. Andre Miller had 16 points, and Lou Williams had 13 points and six assists for Philadelphia, which has lost four of five and eight of 10. "Offensively we weren't doing well," Iguodala said. "The only thing we didn't carry was a win. I think we did okay until the fourth quarter. We had a tough time stopping the ball. Our rotation just wasn't there." The Jazz opened up some breathing room in the third quarter. Ahead by five at the half, the Jazz quickly took a 10-point lead after Okur nailed a three, and Brewer followed with a layup for a 54-44 lead. The Jazz lead bulged to 13 points later in the quarter, but the Sixers cut the deficit to nine points, at 77-68, entering the final 12 minutes. Down 11 early in the fourth quarter, Miller sank a free throw and Rodney Carney made a three-pointer to slice the Utah lead to 84-77 with 9:03 remaining. Paul Millsap made one-of-two free throws, and one-of-two at the charity stripe from Jason Smith and two Samuel Dalembert free throws pulled the Sixers to within 85-80. Five points was as close as the Sixers would get, though, as Boozer rattled off 10 of the next 12 Jazz points, the last four on back-to-back layups that boosted Utah to a 97-86 lead with 4:16 remaining, all-but-sealing the win for the Jazz. Iguodala scored nine points in the first quarter, and the Sixers took a 27-25 lead into the second. The Jazz edged on top, taking a 49-44 lead into the break.
