(Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors signed free-agent guard- forward Hassan Adams to a two-year contract Tuesday. Per team policy, financial details were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Adams played in Italy last season with Ignis Draghi Novara (Lega2), where he averaged 20.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.0 steals in 12 games. In March, he moved to Siviglia Wear Teramo (SerieA) and averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals in eight games.

Adams was originally selected 54th overall in the 2006 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets and appeared in 61 games with the team during the 2006-07 season, averaging 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds.

Adams is scheduled to participate for the Raptors' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League from July 11-19.
