Authorities ID 22-year-old killed in Route 30 crash

NORTH BRADDOCK, Pa. — A crash in North Braddock claimed the life of one person and closed a portion of Route 30 for several hours Friday morning.

Investigators said the crash happened near the intersection of Electric and Linden avenues around 2 a.m.

Officials said the 22-year-old driver lost control and crashed into a drainage ditch as she was traveling to Forest Hills.  The victim has been identified as Bria Walker, of Monroeville.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

All lanes of Route 30 have since been reopened.
