2 CMU Students Busted Trying To Sneak Into Stadium

PITTSBURGH -- A pair of Carnegie Mellon University Students say they had plans to attend Sunday afternoon's Steelers home game. Instead Sudeep Paul, 21 from New York, and Anand Shankar Duvasula, 20 from California, are slated for court across town.
According to Pittsburgh Police, around 2 a.m. Sunday, Heinz Field Security caught the men trying to climb into the Steelers' stadium near Gate B off Art Rooney Avenue.
Our security and surveillance system at Heinz field enabled us to work swiftly with law enforcement to intercept and detain the two perpetrators, said Jimmie Sacco, executive director of stadium management for Heinz Field.
All plans for todays Steelers game will proceed as scheduled, Sacco concluded.
Pittsburgh's Police Chief told reporters there will be additional city officers, both in uniform and undercover assisting with game day security.
