PITTSBURGH -- 911 service is back up and running again in Beaver County.Overnight, operators ran into some problems.People calling from the 336 and 827 exchanges within the 724 area code were not able to call in for at least an hour.Emergency operators were asking neighbors to use their cell phones. The problem has been corrected.County leaders are still looking for a cause.A similar problem happened last month in Allegheny County. Its call center in Point Breeze went offline for six hours.About 100 emergency calls were missed during that time.Last week, county officials said the mistake was due to human error.
