West Mifflin Residents Fed Up After Sixth Water Main Break

Classes Canceled Friday In West Mifflin

West Mifflin residents are feeling the effects of another water main break. This is the sixth break since Sunday.

Pennsylvania American Water Co. officials said water pressure needs more time to return to higher elevations.

Residents and local leaders are losing patience.

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is now being asked to investigate, citing communication issues and chronic service problems.

Because of the low water pressure, classes were cancelled again Friday in the West Mifflin School District.

Other local residents are having more luck with their water service.
