Acting Sheriff Mullen Suffers Heart Attack

PITTSBURGH -- Allegheny County Acting Sheriff William P. Mullen is at Mercy Hospital in critical but stable condition.Mullen suffered a heart attack Tuesday while playing basketball on the Southside.A family spokesperson said Mullen is groggy, but talking with his friends and family who are at his bedside.Mullen has been the Acting Sheriff since Nov. 1 when former Sheriff Pete DeFazio retired.Watch Channel 11 Morning News for updates on Mullen's condition.
