2007 Three Rivers Regatta Moves To Station Square

Parking Not An Issue This Year

Posted: 1:10 pm EDT April 19, 2007

The 2007 Three Rivers Regatta is moving to Station Square.

With Point State Park under construction, Bessimar Court and the Mon River will feature a day and a half of boat races, stunt shows and fishing tournaments.

The July 3 and 4 event will conclude with the Regatta Thunder Fireworks sponsored by Channel 11.

Organizers have assured Channel 11 that the food will be better than ever.

The Regatta is free and parking will not be a problem this year.

Since the Station Square Amphitheatre was leveled, the space is now open for parking, plus the wide open area lends itself to becoming a place to watch the fireworks.
