Police Need Help Finding Man In Crafton Abduction

Composite Sketch Released

The public got its first look at a man who police said tried to abduct a girl in Crafton.

Police said the man in the composite drawing not only tried to kidnap the girl, but he touched her inappropriately.

Now investigators are asking for the public’s help to find him.

Police said the man was riding a bicycle when he approached the girl on Harrison Street last week.

The girl said the same man targeted her several other times.

She said she remembers seeing him near the playground of Crafton Elementary School earlier this month.

Neighbors we spoke to are worried, especially since it was so close to a school.

Stacy hart said, "I just told my son today that there's no more running around. He's to stay in my neighborhood, in my yard because I don't want him to walk nowhere by himself."

The suspect is believed to be about 20 years old, with a medium build and wearing a dark blue shirt.

The young girl said she saw a name tag reading "Mark C."

The back of the man's shirt had a business phone number starting with 412 -9.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
