PITTSBURGH -- Angry parents have filed a class-action lawsuit over Hannah Montana concert tickets.

Two law firms, Robert Peirce & Associates, P.C., of Pittsburgh, and Glassman, Edwards, Wade & Wyatt, a Memphis, Tenn. firm, filed the lawsuit Monday against Interactive Media Marketing, Inc. and Smiley Miley, Inc. on behalf of anyone who joined the official Miley Cyrus Fan Club at mileyworld.com based on the club's representation that joining would make it easier to get Hannah Montana concert tickets.

Miley Cyrus is the star of the popular Hannah Montana TV show.

"They deceptively lured thousands of individuals into purchasing memberships into the Miley Cyrus fan club, and that's why we're suing," said Peirce.

The lawsuit asked for treble damages for all of members of the class action lawsuit and recovery of all attorney's fees.

"The vast majority of club members, including those who logged on at the appointed time or shortly thereafter, were unable to obtain concert tickets," said Peirce.

According to the lawsuit, Interactive Media Marketing and Smiley Miley should have known that its membership vastly exceeded the number of available tickets.
